I prefer to paint from life, though if sittings are not possible I will work from photographs. I work quickly because I feel that way the portrait is more spontaneous and it is a great advantage with children whose patience is limited.

I paint all types of portraits including posthumous and historical subjects. I have also painted many nude portraits, often for galleries, usually using pastels to bring out the texture of youthful skin tones.

I am now permanently based in the U.K. but I am prepared to go anywhere to carry out a commission as I enjoy travelling.

I can also paint replicas of paintings for my clients.

I do not usually frame my portraits, but I am happy to advise my clients.
